can Area L AHEC Public Health Education do for you?
| Boards of Health – In an effort to assist local boards of health and boards of trustees with their responsibilities in healthcare policy-making, Area L AHEC collaborates with the North Carolina Association of Boards of Health and local hospital trustees. Dinner educational meetings, as well as workshops designed to orient boards of health members to a variety of procedural matters inherent to their responsibilities, are offered to area participants on a regular basis. | Technical Assistance -- The
Director of Public Health Education can offer help with, or referral to,
a wide variety of information services and the following types of assistance:
grant writing, institutional training, educational needs assessment, and technical
assistance.
